In the beginning...

Long before we discussed marriage, we shared a dream of traveling abroad.

Traveling was something we always wanted to do, but never found the right time or money to do so. We think this is the prime time in our lives to get away and see the world. Without life's many distractions, we will grow strong as husband and wife at an amazing rate. We can't wait to indulge in spending every single day together around the world, and everywhere in between. We plan to return home with empty pockets, but rich with unforgettable memories, and more in love than ever.

Although you are not obligated to give a wedding gift, if we are honored with your generosity, may we respectfully request a donation to our travels. If you feel so inclined, one option, is to deposit securely using a credit/debit card through this blog. Click on the donate button below and follow the instructions. Make sure to fill in all your information accurately so we may know who to thank! Many blessings to all of you!

We are thrilled you are here visiting our new blog page and to follow along with us during our journey! As we begin our new life with each other and leave on our travels, our goal is that this web page may serve as a convenient place to communicate with all of you via images, videos, and words.

Don't be shy! Drop us a line !

Looking forward to sharing our new life together with all of you!

Stay tuned!

Love,
Nancy and Ryan

Greetings from Bali!

We lived in New Zealand the past 3 months and became attached to the land and people we met. It was really hard to leave as it was a special place for us during our time there. But, as we arrived in Indonesia, we have been greeted by very friendly people, pumping surf, good food, and the US dollar goes a loooooong way here. So all that this past week has sweetened the bitterness of our departure from New Zealand. Here's a few images from our first few days in Uluwatu, Indonesia.

This is where we are staying for the next couple weeks. Family run property. It's a bargain if you can put up with having to swim in the pool, sit in the shade, walk around barefoot, everyone asks your name, a dozen or so kids always giggling and saying hello to you. Man, we're not sure how we are going to cope...ha

Uluwatu break.

About 5 mins on a scooter from the break above is this slice of heaven called Padang Padang. Ryan is in heaven.

 Barrel at Padang Padang.
Have you seen the movie called Fantastic Mr. Fox? Well, its one of our favorites. If you get to watch it, there is a possum in the movie that has a blank stare that is funny. That's what Ryan looked like after this wave. You'll have to watch the movie to understand! haha :)

25,000 Rupiah's (about 2.50 USD) gets you some fried noodle and egg goodness.
Street food. Spicy pork sticks and sticky rice. 15,000 rph's (1.50 USD)

More from Indo later!

We can't believe we have already past 6 months of being married. There are a number of people we can think of that never would have thought we would make it! ha! With that said, there are the rest of you that have supported and encouraged us since the beginning. It has help us this past 6 months to learn and to grow and begin to form a foundation to hopefully one day expand our new family. We have also past our expectation of traveling this long and seeing as much as we have. It's sad to think our travels will only last a few more months. But in the mean time we have plenty to post here on the blog about our adventures past and present. It's crazy how it feels like we just left home. We have so many more images and footage and experiences to share.  Hope you all are doing well. Blessings!
