In the beginning...

Long before we discussed marriage, we shared a dream of traveling abroad.

Traveling was something we always wanted to do, but never found the right time or money to do so. We think this is the prime time in our lives to get away and see the world. Without life's many distractions, we will grow strong as husband and wife at an amazing rate. We can't wait to indulge in spending every single day together around the world, and everywhere in between. We plan to return home with empty pockets, but rich with unforgettable memories, and more in love than ever.

Although you are not obligated to give a wedding gift, if we are honored with your generosity, may we respectfully request a donation to our travels. If you feel so inclined, one option, is to deposit securely using a credit/debit card through this blog. Click on the donate button below and follow the instructions. Make sure to fill in all your information accurately so we may know who to thank! Many blessings to all of you!

We are thrilled you are here visiting our new blog page and to follow along with us during our journey! As we begin our new life with each other and leave on our travels, our goal is that this web page may serve as a convenient place to communicate with all of you via images, videos, and words.

Don't be shy! Drop us a line !

Looking forward to sharing our new life together with all of you!

Stay tuned!

Love,
Nancy and Ryan

We finally made it...

Ok...First off, so sorry for those that have been wondering what the heck has happened to us. Long story short, we didn't leave the country on the 17th like we had planned. Nancy and I were feeling uneasy about our departure the night before our flight was due to leave last week. So after a few prayers and a quick call to the airlines were were able to push our flight back another week with no problems. We woke up the next morning feeling really good about the decision.

So, for our first destination we decided to go to Lima, Peru. We flew out on Wednesday, connecting through Mexico City, and arriving in Lima Thursday morning. After a couple little issues at the airport with getting our bank cards to work, we finally arrived in Central Lima that afternoon via, kamikaze taxi ride. Ha! We spent the last two days catching up on sleep and mapping out where we wanted to go at a fairly expensive/nice hotel ( by Peruvian standards). Not a whole lot to share right now, but just wanted to let you all know we finally made it and can't believe we are here! We will post some more pictures soon. Stay posted.

PS- It is Nancy's birthday today! She turned 24! Happy birthday wifey! We had two slices of Peruvian apple pie with ice cream, and lit a napkin on fire for her to blow out and make a wish...(afterwards..she said she forgot to make a wish before she blew out the flaming napkin. She said she was too nervous the napkin was going to burn the old cafe down.)
